A very useful test to determine the relationship between suspected male relatives. The Y-Chromosome is present only in males and is passed down from father to son to grandson. This test can be useful to determine if suspected male cousins, nephews, grandsons, uncles and grandfathers are biologically related. Males who have a common ancestor will have the same Y-Chromosome.
