PRENATAL
This test is performed when one wishes to determine paternity during pregnancy. Buccal samples are collected from the mother and alleged father. The samples from the unborn child are invasive, there are medical risk involved and should be discussed with your OB/GYN and or Genetic Counselor. There are two procedures that can be performed depending on the stage of pregnancy. 1. Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) 10-14 Weeks 2.
